What are EyeLash Extensions?
EyeLash Extensions are a totally new
way to extend the length and thickness of your eyelashes.
They are applied on a hair-by-hair basis to
your own lashes for a totally natural look.
How long do they last?
When carefully maintained, Lashes can last up to 4-6 weeks or more. Touch-ups are recommended
after initial full set application to replace any lashes that might have fallen off. Properly maintained
lashes will last for the length of the natural growth cycle of each eyelash hair.
Is there any way to keep the eyelash extensions for longer than one month?
Is there a guarantee for the minimum # of weeks that the eyelashes should last?
There is no guarantee. However, the study shows in
average it approximately lasts up to 5 weeks and
many extended lashes last at least
3 weeks or longer until your real lashes fall out. How many weeks
does
it last? It is also up to your lifestyle. Some people treat lashes carefully, then they last longer.
Others don't treat them carefully, then they don't last as long.
Is the EyeLash Extensions procedure
painful?
Technically NO. Some may have a little watering, but mostly NO.
Is it possible to get extensions
for lower part of eyelashes?
It is possible as long as your real lashes have enough length. However, only upper part should be
gorgeous enough.
How do I care for my Lash Extensions?
Care must be taken not to rub eyes, or scratch. Also, any
creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, or
cleansers containing oils can loosen the bond
of Lash Extensions. It should be used oil-free eye
make-up remover. Care must be taken to
apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
What happens to the attached eyelashes over time - do they just fall out on their own?
In many cases, your real lashes will fall out
before the extension comes off. Over time, the extension will
be gradually
loose, but many will be still attached to your real lashes for a long time (up to 2 months!).
Can I add mascara to EyeLash
Extensions?
Water soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the life-span of your lashes.
Waterproof mascara is NOT recommended for use as it
will dissolve the bond with the lashes.
If you choose not to use mascara, tint your lashes prior to the
Lash Extension procedure.
How long will it take to complete the eyelash extension procedure?
1.5 hours to 2 hours, depending upon the individual’s own eyelash conditions.
How do I need to prepare for coming for the Lash Extensions?
Clients
must wash eye area with oil-free cleanser prior to application, with NO make-up on eye areas at all
including mascara please. Use of oily eye makeup removers will result in failure of lashes to bond.
Who can apply Lash Extensions?
A licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, permanent
makeup technician or beautician can provide lash
extension services.
How much to Lashes cost?
Depending on the locations, the cost of a full set of lashes (upper lashes) may range from $60 to
$280.
Touch-ups are usually provided for a nominal fee range from $5-7 per lash, min. $50-65.
