Q. Will it be natural or a dramatic look?

A. There are two things to consider; Shape and Colour.

If you have a very definite idea of what you would like to have done, I recommend that you put your make-up on, as you would normally do so at home. Then I will do the procedure following the shape and colours you have created.  If you are not so sure, I will draw the shape with non-permanent pencil on the day of procedure, once you like the result, we will discuss and decide for a color that will accentuate your features. We will also discuss of the technique that I will be using; for example for the eyebrows; I could use the method of Feathering Strokes to create very fine lines that it looks like real hair, for the eyes you could have a line for eyeliner or a dotting method where small dots are placed in between the lashes to give a fuller, thicker look.

Q. Is permanent makeup a safe procedure?

A. The procedures are only performed under sterile conditions. Only disposable needles and "tubes" are used. There are no long-term side effects; short-term effects may include some redness, swelling and tenderness.

Q. What kind of healing time is involved? Is any care required after the procedure?

A. Some swelling and redness can be expected for 24 hours following the procedure. The treated area must be kept clean. No makeup should be applied for several days.  The color will appear darker than when the procedure heals.  Some skin peeling during the healing process and the applied color will lighten after healed are normal.  Regular routines usually can be resumed immediately after the procedure. However, swimming or vigorous exercise should be avoided for a few days. Normal healing times is between 4 to 7 days.

Q.  How long does Permanent Make-up last?
A.
Once the color is inserted in the derma it will be permanent, it will always be there. It will fade with time and it is suggested to return for touch-ups after 2 years.
